Founded by Earl Bellwether & Gordon Harlow
Two Appleton veterans opened a small office on College Avenue with a single desk and a handshake. Their philosophy: know every street, every family, every home.
1972
Expansion into the Appleton area
The firm opened its the Appleton area office as the region's post-industrial economy began to grow. Within three years it was the top-selling firm on the east side.
1989
Second generation takes over
Thomas Bellwether and Lynn Harlow-Novak joined the firm and guided it through the challenging early-90s market, emerging stronger with a reputation for honest counsel.
2001
Margaret Harlow becomes Principal Broker
The third generation. Margaret modernised the firm's technology, launched digital listings, and expanded into Greenville, Hortonville, and Brookmere, becoming the area's leading community specialist.
2026
69 years and counting
Over 1,400 Fox Cities families served. The same two names on the door. The same commitment to putting community before commission.
